Our trading name is Edith Langford Art, but we are referred to as “we”, “us” or “our” in these terms.

Design, Copyright and Intellectual Property

We are the owner or licensee of the intellectual property rights in our website and in the material published on it. These rights and materials are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world and all such rights are reserved. 

Our status as the authors of content on our site must always be acknowledged. You may link to our home page if you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage or take advantage of our reputation and provided that your link does not suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. 

You must not use any content from our website for commercial purposes without first obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

Testimonials and Social Media

If you chose to contact us we may display the content of your email on our website. Any comments you make by email to us will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. You retain all of your ownership rights in your content, but by contacting us through our email address, you are granting us a limited licence to use, store and copy that content and to upload that content to our website. We will only ever refer to your first name and the county and/or country you are corresponding from on such testimonial. If you wish your comment to be printed anonymously please advise us of this when you get in touch.

By using our website and sharing your photos with us you grant to Edith Langford Art a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use your Instagram handle and/or your Instagram photograph(s) on www.edithlangfordart.com and/or on any of Edith Langford Art’s social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for marketing and/or to use in advertising.

Pricing and Payment

The prices for our services, including any delivery costs, are indicated on our website.

What you must pay depends on what you are buying.

For products from the online shop, your credit or debit card will be charged when you place your order. 

For portraits we will invoice you for £75 deposit when we have agreed your order, and the remaining costs on completion. You must pay each invoice within 14 calendar days after the date of the invoice.  

We can charge interest if you pay late. If you do not make any payment to us by the due date, we may charge interest to you on the overdue amount at the rate prescribed periodically under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. This interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment.  You must pay us interest together with any overdue amount.

Please contact us promptly and let us know if you think an invoice is wrong.  

Limitation of our liability

Nothing in these terms of use excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

We are not liable for business losses. Our services are provided to you for domestic and private use. If you use the prints for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose our liability to you will be limited.
